Pintura al óleo que se enmarca dentro del realismo imaginativo y representa una fusión de clásicos y de épocas donde David se transporta a una forma de vida actual. David en el Garaje representa a dos clásicos, el chevy “Bel air” de 1955 y el David de Caravaggio de 1599, amalgamado entre el rojo del clásico “Bel air”. Ha participado en el concurso Americano de realismo, Art Renewal Center Salon 2018.

Fusion of ages:
In the fusion of classical painting era and the current era is very interesting for the following reasons.
– It allows to approach the great public to the classic painting that does not know at the moment.
– There is an enormous difficulty to adapt a part of a classic painting in the composition, changing it of environment and time, keeping the perspectives, angles and scales more suitable for the painting to be credible
– It allows us to reason and realize that these classic paintings have a place in an environment after 400 years. Little has changed the customs and society at that time.
David at the Garage:
This painting of 130 x 97 cm is framed within imaginative realism and represents a fusion of classics and times where David is transposed to a current way of life. David in the garage represents two classics, the chevy “Bel air” of 1955 and the David of Caravaggio of 1599, amalgamated in the red of the classic Bel air. Finished on April 2017.
